This is an original old vintage Almirah cabinet, carved in intricate detail from hardwood, sourced from North west India. Almirah cabinets are a staple in traditional Indian households, used to store salt and grain in the kitchen, or saris, quilts and other textiles in living spaces and bedrooms.
