Vintage Indian Chakki grinder table 257599
Designer: Alabaster Trader
This Chakki grinder table is an original old, one off piece. Sourced from North West India, they are RARE!, and becoming increasingly hard to come by. Hand carved in beautiful detail, from teak that has been stripped of all colour and bleached to obtain the "alabaster finish" you see. These tables were originally used to grind flour and wheat. They are perfect for a floor picnic, with some champagne and a cheese board, surrounded with seat cushions, filled with candles, or used as a low coffee table, in a small space.
Dimensions: approx.32cm high x80cm wide x 80cm deep
